Award-Winning Driveways & Paving Across Hampshire
Family-owned driveway specialists serving Hampshire and the surrounding counties since 1996.
Hampshire Driveways is a family-owned business based in the Fareham area, and our family team covers the whole of Hampshire and the bordering parts of West Sussex, Surrey and Berkshire. We’ve been installing driveways, patios and paving across this part of the south coast since 1996 — nearly three decades of local work for hundreds of Hampshire families.
The full list of towns and cities we regularly work in is below. If you’re not sure whether you’re inside our normal coverage area, just give us a call — in practice we travel further than this list suggests for the right project.
If you’d rather check by postcode, here’s the rough breakdown of where our family team regularly installs driveways:
We aim to respond to every enquiry within 24 hours, often the same day if you ring before noon. For free site visits, here’s the rough turnaround you can expect from our family team across the Hampshire coverage area:
Site visits are always free and never come with any obligation. We measure, take photos, talk through your brief, and post you a written quote within a few days — usually less.
Although Hampshire is our heartland, our family team travels into the surrounding counties for the right project. We regularly work in West Sussex (particularly around Chichester, Westbourne and Bosham), in southern Surrey (Liphook, Haslemere, Grayshott), in the south of Berkshire (Tadley, Bramley), and along the Wiltshire borders (Salisbury area).
If you’re a few miles outside the towns listed above, please don’t assume we can’t help — pick up the phone and ask. We’d rather travel a little further for a project we’re excited about than turn good work away.
Driveway materials, drainage requirements, soil types, planning quirks and Council interpretations all vary across Hampshire. Coastal areas like Gosport, Hayling Island and parts of Portsmouth need different specifications for jointing and edge restraints. Inland areas like Winchester and Basingstoke often have clay subsoils that affect sub-base depth. The New Forest has stricter planning interpretation than urban Hampshire.
As a family business that’s been working across Hampshire for nearly 30 years, we’ve learned what works where. That experience is built into every quote we give, every material we recommend, and every detail we specify.
